(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of the 24 drawer cabinets from one supplier and a 44 drawer cabinet from a second supplier.(The first supplier did not offer the 44 drawer model.)All three cabinets arrived with broken tabs laying in the bottom of the box.(These are the tabs that keep the drawers from falling out.)In addition, one of the UNBREAKABLE plastic drawers was cracked.I called one of the suppliers, (Wasserstrom), and they sent me a replacement cabinet.The problem was that it was worse than the others.Nearly half of the plastic tabs were broken.This is not a shipping or handling problem. The problem is that the process of installing the individual drawers at the factory is damaging the frame during assembly.This is a poor quality product.
I found a better choice at Lowe's.They carry a line of plastic drawer cabinets that are much better, and made in the USA too!!They have a 9 drawer cabinet that has the same size drawers as Akro-Mills and is stackable.They are much more robust in design and cost about the same ($1.22 per drawer vs. $1.17) as the Akro-Mills products.

(More customer reviews)This product doesn't even deserve one star! I bought this for something simple and easy...what a BIG MISTAKE!! It's more trouble than it is worth! The hems don't hold up, it's a pain to finish a hem so it doesn't unthread on me, it's hard to control any real direction AND did I mention that it just plain SUCKS? I feel like I am all thumbs while trying to use it. It's now in the dumpster because I wouldn't even GIVE it away!!! Coming from the name Singer, I was a bit surprised of the bad quality :((

They make pretty potholders and are easy to use.Colors are nice...

Just don't use them as potholders because they will melt, leaving colorful plastic residue sticking to your pots and pans!They will stick to themselves (when melting) and burn.

Use wool or cotton loops.

Make sure you buy the correct brand for your machine. I would not try to switch from brother to singer. This is a reasonable price. When you buy them separate from machine they cost more. If you get them in a bundle, jump on it.

(More customer reviews)I had a pair of compact scissors for years that I kept in my emergency sewing kit in my hand bag...unfortunately I lent my sister one day to cut off some tie-straps from her hub cap and there went my scissors!I was so upset as I simply dislike the little miniature flimsy scissors that are put in most sewing kits.I decided to try trusted Amazon and put in "compact" scissors...I couldn't believe it when these popped up and I hoped and prayed it was the same...was I ever sooo happy when I realized it was the exact same type and with the set of 3, I was able to give my sister her own pair..lol.

They're very strong and sturdy (except for tie straps, although I think she broke them when trying to fold them back) and really neat for those emergency repairs.I'm very pleased with these and delivery was prompt too.Definitely recommend.

(More customer reviews)I only gave the Janome MC9500 4 stars because I haven't yet tried the embroidery feature, so can't yet judge that part.
So far however, the Janome MC9500 machine does everything I believe I will ever need and it does it all well.I love all of its many special, built-in stitches and am extremely happy with its overall performance.
This machine holds the tension (yeah!!!) so I can now retire my 35 year old workhorse that has always had tension issues.
This machine is heavy, which to me is a big plus because it won't be moving around or wobbling.I had originally purchased a cheaper, "heavy duty" machine made by Singer but sent it back because (1) I would have to hold it every time I pressed the reverse button so it wouldn't fall over and (2) it didn't meet my expectations for "heavy duty".
Since I recently ordered and received the stablizer and embroidery thread, I can't wait to try some of the built-in embroidery patterns and monogramming!
What a great machine!!!
