I purchased my red/brown Nantucket Bagg at Stitches Midwest, 2010.The minute I saw it, I knew I had to have one.

I usually have 4-6 projects going at one time, and I like to carry as many of them with me as possible, especially when I fly or take road trips.

My problem, though, was that I didn't have a way to carry everything together easily, so I'd wind up carrying multiple tote bags.I can't tell you how many times I'd leave the car with a project in hand, only to discover that my extra knitting tools were in a different bag . . . OR how many times I've had to search through bags only to find I left something I needed at home -- a knitter's nightmare.

Not any more.Now I can fit my tools, projects, books, notes, glasses, even snacks into one bag . . . grab and go.

Note:Inside, I can carry 3-4 smaller projects (things like socks, hats, gloves) or 1-2 larger projects (scarf) or 1 very large project that's grown to a good size (like a large shawl or afgan).And all my tools, etc., are right there for me, organized and easy to find.

As you'll see in my photos, you can use the bag in multiple ways:

Open it to create a tool shelf - having the ability to open it this way also makes it PERFECT for packing in a suitcase.

Zip it into a tote bag with all the tools on the outside.

Zip it into a tote bag with all the tools on the inside (this is my preferred way of using the bag).

It is up to you how you'll carry the bag:It converts to a tote, a roll, or backpack.So far, I've used mine as a tote.It carries comfortably in my hand or flung over the shoulder.

This is a bag that is made to last a lifetime.It was designed by a master carpenter and is double thick 600 denier Polyester Canvas.It has 30 pockets which could also be enlarged by removing a few stitches, if you like.

It is washable.

Since I've only had this bag for about a week, I'm still discovering new ways to use it.I just LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone.

Ott-Lite Truecolor Portable Lamp Review

(More customer reviews)This rugged little lamp is as an excellent design. The frame is sturdy and made of superior grade plastic and my lamp has gone through thousands of openings and closings in the past and has shown no appreciable wear. I've also dropped it down a height of ten feet by accident, and while I wouldn't recommend repeating that incident the unit came through without a scratch. The lamp is incredibly versatile beyond its construction, the light is strong and the light the bulb produces mimics daylight. This makes it ideal for small craft and repair jobs, and also makes it an excellent source of supplementary light for indoor plants.
The only reason I didn't rate this product 4 stars instead of a five star rating is that the cord of the light is about 4 feet. which is rather short for a work/craft light, and carrying around is tiresome. The cord can also become a problem when using it as a work lite as the cord is not detachable and can be a hazard. In my case stumbling on the cord was what caused the ten foot drop. If a relatively short non-detachable power cord isn't a factor, then I can't recommend this light enough. I may even buy another in the near future myself.

(More customer reviews)This is a great product. I use it all the time. I don't know what I did before I got it. I can do fine work with both hands free. It's perfect for any fine, close-up work. I've used it for electronics, removing slivers, and seam ripping. The grandkids love it for looking at bugs and leaves and other stuff they find in the backyard. We have great fun one day watching sugar and salt dissolve in water.

It is well made and well designed (one exception, see below). It fits perfectly and is easy to adjust. Once adjusted, it stays adjusted. There's a knob at the back of the headband that adjust the fit around the head. There are two knobs on the sides that adjust the tension of the lens frame to keep it in place, either directly in front of the eyes or up and out of the way. This works perfectly. It will stay put any place from all the way down to completely overhead. I have mine set fairly loose so it swings easily.

It's very light. Mine weighs just under 5 oz. It's very comfortable to wear. It has a removable leatherette head band in the front with a felt liner.
I don't wear mine where it will get dirty or sweaty, but it looks to be washable.

I like that it fits over my glasses. I can work with it up or down without having to remove my glasses. Nice design.

Each unit comes with one lens. Other interchangeable lenses are available. In this table, Pwr = magnification power and FL = focal length.

These lenses are glass, not plastic. They appear to be good quality. I have the 3, 5, & 7. I use the 3 for most work.

This brings me to my only complaint - the way the lenses are attached. They do not snap in. The one that came with my unit had 2 little plastic bolts and 2 little plastic nuts. These are a pain to remove and I'm absolutely going to lose at least one of them at some point. They are jet black, so if you drop them, good luck finding them. I also bought 2 additional lenses. They each came with two little plastic "push bolts" that snap into place using the same holes as the bolts. These are even worse. They snap in easily enough, but require something hard to push them back out.

Also, there is nothing to prevent me from mounting the lenses backwards. It's not even all that obvious which is forward and which is backwards. It's way too easy to do it backwards.

The lenses should snap into place with no little parts that can be lost and no way to mount them backwards. I am deducting 1 star for this design flaw. I really hate to do that, because I love this gizmo, but a bad design is a bad design. also, these things have been out there for a long time. They could have fixed this problem.
