(More customer reviews)I decided to try out calligraphy as a complete beginner and this was the first set I bought.I liked the large variety of colors and multiple nibs of different sizes.However, as I tried it out for the first time, I realized that the pen seemed to dispense too much ink, causing the ink to run on the paper.Although the letters were still readable, the thick lines were indistinguishable from the thin.The effect was about the same as if the letters were written with any kind of marker or pen.I've experimented with different kinds of paper to no avail.On top of this, one of the pens started to leak after being used only a few times.The instruction book the kit comes with is not worth being discussed.I'll just say that you will need to buy another book that shows how to write the letters.
